"Let it Count"

Sometimes, moms feel the pressure of life and have a tendency to live rushed and hurried. Life moves fast, kids have needs, and the to-do list for moms seems to be never-ending. However, during our interview, Tori shared with us about an encounter she had with God, where He told her these three profound words that stopped her in her tracks: “Let it count.”

While wrestling with a new season of motherhood, Tori felt a wave of loneliness and desire for community hit her out of nowhere one afternoon. When pulling into her driveway that day, her dad spontaneously invited her over for coffee. On her way to his house, she heard the Lord say, “Let it count.”

This little gesture from her dad was a breakthrough moment. God saw Tori's desire for community, and quickly provided an answer to her prayers. Had the Lord not said, "Let it count," she may have not recognized how God was meeting her in such a profound way. Tori expanded on the power of these three words as it applies to every season as a mom during our podcast.

What moms do matters. All the early mornings, the late nights, and the middle of the night wake-up calls: they count, they’re important, and they change the world for the better! All the little gifts that moms receive along the way matter too. So, remember to be generous, kind, and gracious to all of the moms in your life. Tori also encourages our readers to let the wins count. Let the losses count. Let the fails count too. This isn’t about perfectionism: it’s about doing life with God, and through Bible verses to encourage moms, you’ll see just how close God really is.
